On the Settings tab, uncheck all the boxes under General. Select Start, type OneDrive in the search box, and then select OneDrive in the search results. If the icon doesn't appear in the notification area, OneDrive might not be running. Note: You might need to click the Show hidden icons arrow next to the notification area to see the OneDrive icon. You can also uninstall the OneDrive mobile app from Android and iOS devices. On some versions of Windows, you can also hide or uninstall OneDrive. Open OneDrive settings (select the OneDrive cloud icon in your notification area, and then select the OneDrive Help and Settings icon then Settings.)Ĭlick the OneDrive cloud icon up in your Menu bar, click the three dots to open the menu, and select Preferences. You can always access your files by signing in to. You won't lose files or data by unlinking OneDrive from your computer. If you just don't want to use OneDrive, the easiest solution is to unlink it.
