So long as you’re moving in one direction when a tentacle is coming down, you’ll be able to dodge it. The Hive Mind will attack you by spitting up clusters at you and swinging its tentacles at you.Īvoid the clusters as they’ll explode and strafe left or right to avoid the tentacles. With enough damage done, each of the clusters will explode. Aim for any of the five glowing clusters on its face to damage it. How to fight the Hive Mind bossĪfter the cinematic plays, you can begin your fight with the Hive Mind. Plus, the Power Nodes will be helpful if you plan to replay the game in New Game Plus (NG+) mode. If you need some upgrades and more credits to stock up on ammo and health packs, this is a great chance for you to do it. Since this is the final boss fight in the game, and it’s a decent challenge, you may want to track back a bit and collect any Power Nodes and Semiconductors you may have missed. Keep in mind, once you exit this room and start the cinematic this is a point of no return. You should have found a good number of power nodes in Chapter 12, so you’ll be able to get some good upgrades.
